Instructions:

  • Read the hand-out
  • Develop a “Sharing Contract” for your student or child
  • Implement the contract with your student or child
It is important to remember that individuals with social or behavioral issues find sharing things with others a real challenge. Some individuals may hoard things or have tantrums if they are required to share, even as adolescents or adults. The contingency based contract may help to provide information about the “sharing” and encourage them to participate more readily than without one.
